Perforated rock wool acoustic panels are increasingly used in overall noise reduction in factories and industrial equipment sound insulation projects. Due to their superior performance and lower cost compared to other sound-absorbing panels, they are widely adopted by engineering units. In laboratory research, perforated rock wool acoustic panels are often tested using standing wave tube and reverberation chamber methods, with the reverberation chamber method being more commonly applied in practical engineering. Experimental tests on perforated rock wool acoustic panels show that when single-color steel perforated panels serve as protective surfaces for porous sound-absorbing core materials, the sound absorption performance is primarily determined by the perforation rate. However, when the perforation rate exceeds 20%, this effect becomes negligible. Rock wool sound insulation sandwich panels and perforated color steel sound insulation sandwich panels are used in various fireproof and soundproof environments, such as office partitions, shopping malls, arcades, karaoke bars, dance halls, airports, etc.
